New Moon in Pisces

We’re beginning this moon cycle with our feelings and spirit leading the way. Pisces energy encourages us to empathize with others and to dream big. What a wonderful energy to begin this moon cycle! Pisces is ruled by Neptune, the planet of the collective subconscious and bringing our wildest dreams into this reality. This energy is a powerhouse of spiritual endeavors as well, so if you’re into divination as a moon ritual this would be a perfect time. As we inch closer to Aries season, this Pisces new moon is here to encourage us to imagine the life we want in order to carry that into the season of beginnings (Aries & Spring equinox). In ancient astrology Pisces was ruled by Jupiter because Neptune was not discovered until 1846. Pisces still carries with it the intellectual and jovial energy Jupiter is known for. This would also be a good time to dive deeper into a section of your spiritual practice that you’ve been curious about. Any rituals that involve the element of water would pair nicely with the depths of Pisces energy. Baths, showers, new moon sprays, all would be wonderful to incorporate into your new moon celebrations.
